Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for person with Disability
The Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for person with Disability was taken up to provide the opportunity for higher education in degrees like M. Phil or Ph. D. to the persons with different kinds of disabilities. Every year, according to the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for person with Disability, 200 students with disabilities get fellowships.

Eligibility criteria
The student with disabilities can get themselves enrolled in any educational institution according to the formalities in M. Phil./Ph.D., but it should not be later than 2 years from receiving the award letter. If the research work is found satisfactory, he/ she may be may be awarded with an extended period of 3 years as Senior Research Fellowship. But for proving disability, the person must get the required medical certificate from the medical authority.

Application procedure
The fellowship is available in all universities under UGC. So, the students can avail the fellowships while enrolling themselves.
